DESIGN 21 picked the winners for their latest social design initiative “Happiness: The Tribute 21 Plate Challenge”, which allowed designers and other individuals to submit their plate design ideas based on the phrase “happiness in harmony with our surroundings.” The winning plate designs are as fashionable as they are charitable and a portion of the proceeds will go to the UNESCO/Tribute 21 DREAM Center Fund, a cause which provides underprivileged children with the opportunities they need for creative expression.
